We are pleased to announce that the Daresbury Laboratory 5G Proof-of-Concept Call is now live for expression of interest and applications.
With up to £45k grant funding available for projects that integrate or leverage 5G technology, we’re looking for projects across a range of sectors and applications including Agri-Tech, Defence and Security, Digital, Energy, Entertainment and Media, Health and Life sciences, Industry 4.0, Quantum, Smart Cities and Infrastructure, and Space.
The 5G Ecosystem is a collaboration between STFC’s Campus Technology Hub (CTH) and the STFC Hartree Centre. It offers both public and private 5G connectivity, along with 3D printing, VR/AR, and IoT technologies combined with advanced computing to accelerate the prototyping of 5G applications.
A new spin-out will use artificial intelligence and innovative experimental methods to improve the manufacturing of products such as drugs and fertilisers.
