Most of Croda’s manufacturing sites operated without incurring a recordable injury throughout 2019 and for the first time, there were no recordable injuries in the Group for two consecutive months. Croda’s TRIR achievement places them in the top quartile of their industry, with a target to reach the top decile by 2030.

During 2020 Croda has implemented its new SHE behaviour standard, developed with assistance from a specialist consultancy, and centred on four themes of risk management, standards, involvement and communication. It specifies the behaviours expected of everyone throughout the organisation from the most junior to the most senior personnel.
