Officially launched this month, the UK Chemical Industry Awards 2025 are dedicated to honouring remarkable accomplishments at the company, site or individual level. Offering a unique platform, these awards highlight exemplary contributions within the chemical sector.
For over 26 years, the Chemical Industries Association (CIA) has been hosting these prestigious awards, attracting more than 400 industry leaders, media representatives and stakeholders annually. Last year, the awards received a record number of entries, setting the stage for this year’s event to be the most significant yet. Several awards have been renamed to better align with current industry trends, promising a ceremony that not only reflects the times but also celebrates the height of innovation and excellence. The ceremony will be held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on Thursday, 19 June 2025, providing a fantastic opportunity to entertain valued clients, colleagues and guests in a celebration of UK industry excellence.
Submissions are now welcomed for entry, until the deadline of 10 April, into any of the 12 categories, which include the prestigious Innovation, Manufacturing, Process Safety, Responsible Care, Sustainability, and Future Leader Awards. This year, while maintaining the traditional count of 12 categories, notable changes include the introduction of the ED&I Award, Best Workplace Health Initiative Award, and Future Leader Award enhancing recognition within the industry.
Entry to the awards remains free of charge, however, those shortlisted will have to purchase tickets to attend the grand Awards Dinner on 19 June.
