As a Chemical engineering undergraduate at Newcastle University, Vicky completed an industrial year placement at Dow Chemicals, Stade, Germany, before joining Unilever as an UEMTS management trainee in 1993. Whilst at Crosfield, part of Unilever Chemicals, she undertook numerous roles including plant management and worked in both the UK and the Netherlands. She also completed a MBA at Henley Business school. Following the acquisition of business by ICI and Ineos, Vicky moved into global roles including supply chain and IT project management.
Moving to Urenco Chemplants (UCP) in 2010, Vicky established commercial chemical contracts for a new facility before moving to become Managing Director of Gower Chemicals in 2017.
