Mark L Williams is SABIC’s Vice President Europe since April 2015.
Mark graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 1989 and has a career spanning of 34 years in the Petrochemicals and Polymers industry working across Europe, USA and the Middle East. The focus of his current role is creating a sustainable and competitive environment for the European Petrochemicals Industry and the development of talent to achieve this.
Mark has extensive manufacturing experience with leadership roles of Petrochemical and Cracker complexes across Europe and Texas. He has previously been responsible for SABIC’s overall manufacturing operations in Europe.
Mark is a graduate of the London Business School General Management Development Program and serves on the boards of the CIA, CEFIC, Plastics Europe and EPCA. He also was a former President of the Royal VNCI(Dutch Association of the Chemical Industry).
