Who should attend?
Our REACH – the Basics workshop is aimed at business and regulatory managers and practitioners working in companies that make, import or use chemicals. The day is ideal for anyone who needs to understand more about their obligations under the EU27 and UK REACH Regulation. It will also be of interest to suppliers of substances and mixtures who are looking to support their EU customers on REACH.
This introductory workshop is an excellent place to start for those who are beginning to define their REACH obligations, and for those who are new to the regulation.
Why attend?
The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals) Regulation affects almost every chemical substance that you manufacture, import or use to make your products and to run your processes. Come to this workshop to ensure you understand what it means for your business!
This workshop is designed to help companies with the practical implementation of REACH. The comprehensive programme provides an introduction to the key elements of the regulation and includes talks covering the implications for manufacturers, importers and users of chemicals throughout the supply chain.
This workshop will:
✓ Explore the scope and exemptions of the regulation
✓ Explain Registration, Authorisation and Restriction
✓ Describe the changes to EU safety data sheets
✓ Help you recognise the significance to your business.
Throughout the sessions we will also cover implications of EU Exit, its implications for REACH and what businesses need to do by when to continue placing products on the UK market!
We use an informal style so there will be plenty of opportunity to quiz our experts throughout the day.

Ideal training for Dwonstream Users. If you use a chemical substance, either on its own or in a preparation, in the course of your business activities you are a downstream user under EU/GB REACH.
