Croda has created a global Diversity and Inclusion steering committee, a leadership forum to discuss best practice and focus its actions. Through policy changes and the creation of new policies, such as Croda’s Global Parental Leave minimum standard and through flexible working, Croda has demonstrated its commitment to supporting its employees balance work and life.

Specific objectives to foster and support an inclusive workplace include supporting mental health and wellbeing; employee Mental Health First Aiders have been trained across Croda’s UK sites.

There is also a focus on training and development, for example unconscious bias training, as well as mentoring schemes.
