The chemical and pharmaceutical industry is fundamental to modern society. With an immense variety of products, from vital medicines and foods, the construction of buildings, to transport and leisure, the industry truly does have an impact on virtually every aspect of our daily lives.
Read moreDue for completion in 2021, the site will become Croda’s worldwide distribution hub for products made at their three northern UK manufacturing sites. Close to their manufacturing operations along the M62 corridor, Croda also hopes to take advantage of future investments, such as the inter-modal link project that will give access to multiple forms of transportation, reducing transport emissions. The facility has undergone a sustainability impact assessment and incorporates rainwater harvesting, electric vehicle charging and leisure facilities to enhance employee wellbeing. The site will also be home to a new International Employee Training Centre, providing development opportunities for Croda’s global workforce.
