Young Professionals’ Network
What is ChemTalent?
ChemTalent is a network of people working in chemical and pharmaceutical businesses in the UK who are either at the start of their careers or keen to broaden their skills and voice their opinions on behalf of the UK chemical industry. It is the voice for all future talent working within the industry, from apprentices, to graduates, across every function that enables our companies to operate on a daily basis. This group aims to be a coveted platform to inspire, to debate and to transform the future of our industry.
ChemTalent is part of the Chemical Industries Association (CIA) and sits at the heart of the CIA’s Education and Employment Strategy Group which deals with employment aff airs, trade union relations, education and skills.
Who can join?
ChemTalent is a network that aims to give industry professionals with less than 10 years experience the opportunitiy to connect with others, develop their skills and inspire the next generation of chemical industry leaders.
We also invite those seeking a career in the industry such as university students, apprentices and those with a genuine interest are welcome to join.

Meet the ChemTalent Committee
The ChemTalent network is led by the ChemTalent Committee, which is responsible for mapping the direction of the group and the wider operations of ChemTalent, led by the Young Ambassador. Members are key in discussing the industry’s hot topics/key themes, as well as individual and group concerns.
