The Chemical Industry Awards are the premier accolades for the UK chemical industry. They are designed to offer a unique opportunity to highlight and promote excellent performance at the company, site or individual level.

Climate Change and COMAH
The training aims to provide learners with an understanding of the potential local and global effects of climate change, to assist with the implementation of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment and adaptation plan. The training will include both presentations and workshop sessions.
Root Cause Analysis (DP) - Stopping problems from happening again
This course will take delegates through some principles of RCA and incident investigation processes, highlight pitfalls and challenges likely to be encountered in implementing effective RCA processes, and then provide a methodology for undertaking effective RCAs.
Process Safety Awareness – What is process safety and the key principles of process safety management
The course will use Process Industry case studies and draw on the experiences of industry professionals to illustrate lessons learned and best practices to aid continual improvement.
Occupied Buildings Risk Assessment/OBRA
The course aims to provide a working overview of OBRA qualitative and quantitative methodologies, to provide attendees with the knowledge to understand, query or even develop OBRAs.
CIA/HSE Webinar on Human Factors | COMAH-Critical Communications
This webinar, hosted by the CIA, will be presented by Elaine Skilling - HM Principal Specialist Inspector (Human Factors Engineering) of the CEMHD division of the HSE. It follows the well-attended webinar held in July 2025 on HF for COMAH sites. This time Elaine will discuss the topic of ‘COMAH Critical Communications’ from the HSE’s Human Factors COMAH Delivery Guide.
