The training aims to provide learners with an understanding of the potential local and global effects of climate change, to assist with the implementation of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment and adaptation plan. The training will include both presentations and workshop sessions.
Incident Investigation – Finding the Root Cause (Good Practices)
This course has been designed for anyone who investigates incidents and near misses to increase their underpinning knowledge of good practices. SOPs - Writing Procedures – Current Best Practices
Procedures are critical documents for safely operating a process plant. Well defined, structured and consistent procedures will support reliable and repeatable operations, and form the foundation for driving continuous improvement leading to productivity gains. They are the documents new personnel should be trained against, and if well thought out will reduce the time taken for personnel to become competent.
CDOIF Environmental Risk Assessment
The Chemical and Downstream Oil Industries Forum (CDOIF) have published guidance for determining the tolerability of environmental risk at COMAH Establishments, CDOIF - Guideline Environmental Risk Tolerability for COMAH Establishments v 2.0. Operators of Upper and Lower Tier COMAH establishments are being encouraged to adopt this methodology. The training will be based on the requirements of this guidance and will lead learners through the use of presentations and workshop sessions.

This event provides a fast, practical introduction to managing reputational risk in a digital-first world.
