Purpose

The purpose of this Award is to recognise the contribution of Service Providers make to the success of the UK chemical industry. The award will recognise innovation and outstanding delivery of services for example, engineering, IT, legal, training to the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.

Eligibility

The Award is for companies providing a service to chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Following initial judging, applicants will be notified if they have been short-listed by 2nd May. The winner will be announced at the Chemical Industry Awards Ceremony. Winning applicants should be willing to participate in publicity.

Criteria

The judging panel will be adopting a flexible and wide-reaching approach to selecting a short-list and winner. In particular they will be looking for:

  • Recognised contribution to business performance improvement in the chemical industry.

  • Description of the application of innovation or excellence in delivery of the service you provide.

  • Recognition of the success of the service by customers or stakeholders.

  • Ability to measure this success in the most appropriate way

Judging

The judging panel will consist of the Sponsor, a CIA member of staff and at least one independent expert.

Entries to be made electronically, in confidence to Diana Tamayo on the Entry Form by 10 April 2025.
