PURPOSE

This award is for recognition of the company or site that has presented the best workplace health initiative. Applicants should be seeking excellence in their workplace health and wellbeing programme to protect their workforce and promote safe and sustainable practices.

ELIGIBILITY

The award is open to any chemical manufacturing company / site or one associated / working with it. Following initial judging, applicants will be notified if they have been short-listed by 2 May 2025. The winner will be announced at the Chemical Industry Awards Dinner. Winning applicants should be willing to participate in publicity.

CRITERIA

Applicants for this award should meet the following criteria:

  • Describe the initiative, clearly stating its objective(s) for improving workplace health and wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate employee engagement in the initiative across the workforce.
  • Provide evidence of both leadership and proactive organisation culture in workplace health and wellbeing, including how this is measured.
  • Show improved performance arising from the initiative where possible, with examples given of the performance indicators used.

JUDGING

The judging panel will consist of the Sponsor, a CIA member of staff and an independent expert.

 

Closing Date

Entries to be made in confidence to Diana Tamayo on the Entry Form, signed by a member of the company leadership team, by 10 April 2025.

All information provided in the entry form (except the 50 word summary, which will be published for all shortlisted candidates) will be treated in the strictest confidence.
