Blacon High School in Chester would like to invite local employers down to the school for the morning of 20^th of June for their Careers Fair.  If any employers would like to take part in either of these please contact Rory McCarthy | Pledge Facilitator - [email protected]

The Pledge are also supporting Chester Catholic High School with their year 10 work experience day on Friday 17^th May and need a local employer to support. They require a business to come into the school to deliver a 1-day project. The project can be of your choice and applicable to your company. The Pledge can support with this if needed.

The structure of the day is as follows:

8.30am – arrival

9am to 9.30am – Introduction talk, overview of your business and setting the project task

9.30am to 12.30pm – Students work on the project in groups

12.30pm to 1.15pm – Lunch break

1.15pm to 2.45pm – Students present their project in groups with feedback from the business

2.45pm – Closing talk

3pm - Finish
