Sustainability Strategy Group
This strategy group influences and impacts much of our Responsible Care programme, and works together with our Environment Network, which itself reports direct to the Responsible Care Strategy Group.
Sustainability is a broad term which encompasses many themes across the environmental, economic, social and governance spheres. The purpose of this group is to oversee CIA’s Sustainability Vision, including defining and implementing priorities which are fed into CIA’s Council; identifying practical actions and advocacy activities to advance the vision; and to scan the horizon for medium- to long-term risks and opportunities regarding the sustainability of UK industry.
This network promotes best practice sharing to support the whole of industry along its sustainability journey, and is reserved for full CIA members with participants nominated by their company due to their seniority and expertise in the realm of sustainability.
